1. Synthetic diamond is suitable for grinding various brittle materials. Such as: grinding carbide tools, honing alloy cast iron cylinder liners, cutting and grinding, polishing various ferrites, magnetic steels, etc.; blanking of optical glass, cutting and milling, nesting, fine grinding, edging; Metal processing gemstones, glass, high-alumina ceramics, wood and so on.

2. Cubic boron nitride: suitable for grinding hard and ductile materials such as: ferrous metals, high alumina steel, stainless steel, tool steel, bearing steel, die steel, high steel, high steel, hardened steel, etc.

(2) Selection of particle size

In the selection of particle size, factors such as workpiece roughness, grinding efficiency, and abrasive consumption should be considered. On the premise of ensuring workpiece roughness, coarser particle size should be selected to increase grinding efficiency.

General choice of particle size:

Coarse grinding: 40/50—120/140

Semi-fine grinding: 120/140—200/230

Fine grinding: 200/230—325/400

Super fine grinding: W40—W28—W209

Grinding and polishing: 36—54—0—0.5c percent
